Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics; or 6 years with a Masters degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience
- Proven history of deploying effective Machine Learning solutions in large-scale production systems, collaborating across teams
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Demonstrable sense of ownership and responsibility as a key contributor in both technical and product domains
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Deep Learning Libraries (such as Torch, Tensorflow, etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, able to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and refine search algorithms for better accuracy, relevance, and user experience
- Experiment with Proof of Concept Machine Learning model enhancements, scale them for production, and conduct iterative A/B tests to advance our matching technology in partnership with other teams
- Establish and clarify project priorities, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project objectives and outcomes
- Mentor and cultivate the skills of software engineers and Machine Learning Engineers across various teams
- Decompose larger Machine Learning initiatives into manageable tasks that deliver incremental business value, guiding the team through implementation
- Represent our company at significant Machine Learning conferences, including Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS), the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML), and the International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR)
