Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of practical experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution (Discrete, Process, or Medical Device)
- Familiarity with Opcenter Quality, Intelligence, or APS is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT, and shop-floor connectivity
- Expertise in SQL Server, database design, and stored procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of ISA-95 and ISA-88 manufacturing standards
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Siemens Opcenter certification is preferred
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Electronics)
- Knowledge of Mendix or C#/.NET for MES customization and extensions
- Exposure to global or multi-site MES implementations
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete design, configuration, implementation, and launch of Siemens Opcenter Execution solutions
- Develop and apply digital workflows for production execution, material traceability, genealogy, and electronic work instructions (eWI)
- Integrate MES/MOM with ERP (SAP), PLM, SCADA, and PLC systems
- Produce and maintain URS, FRS, DS, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation to support GxP and ISO compliance
- Collaborate with Lean, Quality, and Operations teams to harmonize manufacturing processes
- Deliver Level 2/3 application support, resolving production issues and enhancing system performance
Description
At InESS, we are currently seeking a Siemens MES & Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Specialist to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of working both on-site and offshore in the US or India. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving our digital manufacturing initiatives by bridging IT, Engineering, Quality, and Shop Floor Operations. We value collaboration and are committed to enabling efficient production execution, ensuring traceability, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This position is a long-term opportunity, lasting from 6 months to a year for US hires and full-time for those joining our India team.
