Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, SSH, SFTP, FTP, NFS, LDAP, SSO, and SSL/TLS encryption protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE for network access control; Cisco ASA firewalls; Meraki cloud-managed networks; and Juniper devices.
- Proficiency in routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and load balancing techniques.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including LAN/WAN design, VLANs, VPNs, and virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge of network security practices including vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection systems, encryption standards, and firewall management.
- Familiar with DevOps practices and scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and provide support for enterprise network infrastructure encompassing LAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN solutions to ensure uninterrupted connectivity across various locations.
- Configure and manage network hardware including Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki access points, and Juniper devices to uphold secure and dependable network operations.
- Deploy and oversee security protocols utilizing tools like Cisco ISE for identity services, as well as IDS and PKI for encryption and authentication.
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations and perform routine network security audits with monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds and Splunk to identify threats or performance issues.
- Manage intricate routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and IPsec VPNs to enhance data flow across multiple networks.
- Provide support for data center infrastructure, including SAN and VMware vSphere environments, to ensure robust data storage and processing capabilities.
- Automate network operations utilizing scripting languages like Python or Bash and configuration management tools like Ansible to streamline deployment and updates.
- Collaborate with Agile teams on SDLC projects related to cloud security on platforms like AWS or Azure while adhering to ITIL best practices for system administration and support.
