Requirements
Must:
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support, field service, or IT-related position preferred
- Solid grasp of fundamental networking principles (IP addresses, DNS, SMTP, etc.)
- Background with copiers/MFPs, print environments, or IT services is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a client-facing setting
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Capability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Valid drivers license and dependable transportation
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments for new customer setups
- Collect and document essential technical details, including:
- Device make/model and fleet specifications
- Network data (IP addresses, subnets, gateways)
- Scan-to-email (SMTP) configurations
- Address books and user workflows
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan installations
- Pre-configure devices ahead of deployment to ensure easy setup
- Program:
- Scan workflows (email, folder, etc.)
- Print drivers and standard settings
- Device address books and user permissions
- Provide on-site customer training during and after installation
- Guarantee a smooth transition to service/technician teams
- Resolve basic connectivity and configuration problems
- Keep precise documentation for each deployment
