Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in lighting design and video systems engineering
- Proficient with GrandMA / Eos consoles, Blackmagic ATEM, NDI / SDI routing, and LED wall processing
- Strong technical knowledge of DMX, Art-Net, Dante, and network infrastructure
- A creative eye for stage design, color, and visual storytelling
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Previous church production or touring experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, programming, and execution of lighting and video systems for live events and broadcasts
- Maintain and troubleshoot LED walls, projection systems, camera equipment, switchers, and lighting networks
- Lead a team of volunteer and staff operators during weekend services and special events
- Collaborate closely with Worship, Creative, and Production teams to create cohesive visual experiences
- Manage system upgrades, documentation, and standards across all campuses
- Support live streaming and broadcasting workflows (using platforms such as Resi and Blackmagic)
Description
We are Impact Church, and we are currently looking for a creative and technically adept Video & Lighting Director / Systems Engineer to spearhead the visual and lighting environments across our campuses. This role uniquely blends hands-on system engineering with artistic direction, ensuring that our worship services, events, and broadcasts maintain excellent video quality, dynamic lighting design, and reliable infrastructure. We offer a full-time position with a salary range of $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, and the role requires in-person attendance.
