Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of experience in Test Engineering
- Familiarity with Environmental Testing based on MIL-STD-810, including temperature, vibration, and shock tests
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing according to MIL-STD-461
- Knowledge of product safety requirements and testing
- Understanding of design-for-EMC best practices
- Proficient in diagnosing EMC/EMI failures
- Prior experience with UL/CE Certification is preferred
- Experience with reliability analysis, including MTBF calculations and DFMEA analysis, is a plus
- Background in testing airborne products is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Analyze and decompose requirements for testing
- Participate in design reviews to assess product readiness
- Develop comprehensive test plans
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and verification testing
- Create detailed test reports documenting findings
- Coordinate with external test laboratories, managing quotes, scheduling, and equipment transport/setup
- Perform debugging and root-cause analysis for any test failures
- Collaborate effectively with other test engineers and the design engineering team
- Communicate testing plans, status, and risks clearly to management and across functions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet timelines
