Senior Systems Architect - Rugged Computers

- Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers, gaining insight into their business challenges, operational environments, and high-level requirements - Lead discussions to define the systems Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and translate customer needs into comprehensive architectural specifications - Develop and present solutions and proof-of-concepts, effectively communicating technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Design detailed system architectures that integrate hardware, software, networks (including avionics), and third-party services, emphasizing interoperability, scalability, and performance - Conduct thorough evaluations of current and emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions that align integration strategies with long-term business goals - Oversee the implementation and deployment of integrated solutions, guiding cross-functional engineering and development teams to ensure adherence to architectural vision - Collaborate with project managers to strategically plan and execute integration projects while identifying risks and managing constraints like timelines and budgets - Define and uphold integration standards, best practices, and governance processes to guarantee quality and consistency across projects - Supervise and/or conduct final validation and testing to confirm that the integrated system fulfills all functional and non-functional requirements
