Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a technical support role
- Proven expertise as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or a similar position
- Proficient in setting up computers from scratch, including loading necessary drivers
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Familiarity with Active Directory user, group, and group policy management
- Understanding of DNS, LAN, WAN, and VLAN configurations
- Strong skills in diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and resource adjustment
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot backup systems
- Familiarity with medical and dental software solutions
- Certifications such as A+, N+, Sec+, MCP, or MCITP are highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Respond to user tickets related to hardware, software, and networking concerns
- Assist customers in installing applications and connecting peripherals
- Utilize targeted questioning to identify issues
- Provide clear, step-by-step guidance to users
- Perform remote troubleshooting as needed
- Explore various solutions until issues are resolved
- Customize desktop applications based on user requirements
- Keep detailed records of technical problems and solutions
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support
- Follow up with clients to confirm their systems are operational
- Gather and report customer feedback and potential product enhancements
- Collaborate in creating technical documentation and user manuals
