Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation for both the programming environment and end users, operation, and maintenance
- Proficient in MySQL database operations and management, with knowledge of DISA STIG configurations, ideally in a Linux environment (such as RedHat Enterprise Linux or similar)
- Familiarity with JavaScript/ECMAScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap; experience with these technologies in the ServiceNow application platform is advantageous
- Skilled in C# and Visual Studio Tools for Office for interfacing with web-based REST APIs
- Capable of performing tasks with minimal management oversight, both independently and as part of a small team
- Active DOD Secret or DOE L security clearance; DOD Top Secret or DOE Q is preferred

Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and the existing functionalities of legacy applications, including those programmed in Visual Basic for Applications, VB.NET, and ColdFusion
- Formulate a migration strategy to transition to the ServiceNow application platform
- Implement the transition and facilitate user acceptance testing
- Enhance existing user documentation or create new material as required for migrated applications
- Review DISA requirements related to database hardening (STIG/SRG)
- Assess the current database security posture and evaluate the operational needs of the ServiceNow platform
- Develop a plan to mitigate gaps or document any inconsistencies
