Senior Product Security Engineer - Mountain View

- Direct the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud security architectures across GCP, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads. - Develop security automation frameworks using Python or Java to mitigate operational risks and enhance organizational security maturity. - Create production-ready security automations to optimize security operations and minimize manual efforts. - Manage security projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality outcomes are delivered punctually with minimal oversight. - Analyze and resolve intricate security challenges in live environments, conducting in-depth technical assessments and quickly implementing solutions. - Enforce GKE security protocols. - Develop and sustain cloud security infrastructure using Terraform. - Set up GCP security services such as VPC Service Controls, Private Service Connect, Cloud Armor policies, IAM roles, and Secret Manager. - Conduct API security assessments, performing reviews, identifying vulnerabilities, and applying remediation measures. - Oversee vulnerability remediation workflows for applications, containers, Cloud, and SaaS vulnerabilities within established SLAs. - Create security dashboards and reports to monitor vulnerability MTTR, security control effectiveness, and false positive rates. - Perform thorough technical security assessments across API, applications, GKE, and infrastructure, implementing robust, production-quality solutions. - Act as a technical resource for cloud, IAM, GKE, and Terraform-related security concerns, offering expert guidance during high-severity incidents. - Implement advanced GCP security measures, including VPC Service Controls, Private Service Connect, sensitive service perimeter enforcement, and automated IAM governance. - Collaborate with Infrastructure, Platform, AppSec, and Compliance teams to ensure a cohesive, secure-by-default cloud architecture.
