Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Development, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience, including at least 3 years of relevant work.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Python Development.
- At least 1 year of professional experience with AWS serverless architecture.
- Proven familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards.
- Experience with various types of analytics, including file, network, and host-based analytics.
- Active security clearance is required per client contract specifications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity personnel to comprehend and automate existing manual analytic procedures.
- Design and implement automated analytic capability sets such as signature, behavioral, heuristic, anomalous, unsupervised learning, and predictive analytics.
- Create new platforms that deliver operational effectiveness.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of production systems following the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) model.
- Provide ongoing support for continuous analysis throughout the full lifecycle of capabilities.
- Execute tasks related to information analysis, refining analytics, selecting countermeasures, reviewing outputs, and enhancing analytics and countermeasures performance.

This position is part of a significant federal cybersecurity analytic initiative. Your contributions will help deepen our understanding of cyber-attack methodologies, vulnerability exploitation, and the behaviors of hostile cyber entities. We offer a primarily telework-based environment with the opportunity to engage in occasional meetings at client locations in Arlington, VA, or Pensacola, FL, as well as our facilities in the Washington DC metro area.
