Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Development, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience, including at least 3 years of relevant work. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Python Development. - At least 1 year of professional experience with AWS serverless architecture. - Proven familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards. - Experience with various types of analytics, including file, network, and host-based analytics. - Active security clearance is required per client contract specifications.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity personnel to comprehend and automate existing manual analytic procedures. - Design and implement automated analytic capability sets such as signature, behavioral, heuristic, anomalous, unsupervised learning, and predictive analytics. - Create new platforms that deliver operational effectiveness. - Assist in the design, development, and deployment of production systems following the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) model. - Provide ongoing support for continuous analysis throughout the full lifecycle of capabilities. - Execute tasks related to information analysis, refining analytics, selecting countermeasures, reviewing outputs, and enhancing analytics and countermeasures performance.

At ICF, we are currently seeking an experienced Software Developer to enhance our research and development of cybersecurity analytic capabilities that will aid the US in safeguarding its networks and critical information systems. This position is part of a significant federal cybersecurity analytic initiative. Your contributions will help deepen our understanding of cyber-attack methodologies, vulnerability exploitation, and the behaviors of hostile cyber entities. We offer a primarily telework-based environment with the opportunity to engage in occasional meetings at client locations in Arlington, VA, or Pensacola, FL, as well as our facilities in the Washington DC metro area.
