Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale, secure networks
- Proficient in network orchestration and automation technologies like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
- Strong skills in network programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Perl
- Familiarity with a variety of network operating systems and platforms, including Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper
- In-depth knowledge of IP multicast and unicast, as well as routing protocols like TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex network issues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience with firewall technologies and DDoS mitigation products like Cloudflare and Akamai
- Advanced certification in networking (e.g., Juniper, Cisco) or firewalls would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions within a Private Cloud infrastructure; knowledge of Public Cloud is advantageous
- Manage controlled network modifications across various elements like firewalls and load balancers
- Utilize orchestration and automation tools for network operation enhancements
- Maintain and support diverse multi-vendor production networks critical to our operations
- Execute network and firewall requests while adhering to security protocols
- Resolve intricate network issues and performance challenges
- Design and support real-time market data feeds over IP multicast and unicast
- Develop innovative networking solutions based on specified requirements
- Assist team members in problem resolution and escalation strategies
- Comply with and promote operational policies and procedures
- Provide essential technical guidance to ensure effective changes to network infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, and Datacenter teams
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for network support
