Responsibilities
- I will rely on you to deliver comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and network issues.
- You will manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- I expect you to troubleshoot software issues connected to Microsoft Office applications, as well as enterprise software such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and other business tools.
- You will maintain and support our computer networking infrastructure, including LAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
- Assisting with the setup and configuration of operating systems on new devices and performing routine system updates will be part of your role.
- Monitoring the health of our IT infrastructure using tools like Help Desk ticketing systems to prioritize and resolve issues promptly will also be required.
- Supporting cybersecurity measures by configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols to safeguard sensitive data is essential.
- You will conduct hardware troubleshooting for components such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, printers, and peripherals.
- Documenting all incidents and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira for future reference and continuous improvement will be part of your duties.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects that enhance operational efficiency will be expected.
- Finally, I would like you to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users while maintaining a positive customer service attitude.
