Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Security+ or CISSP certification
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration
- Experience with Microsoft Server (up to 2022)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Workstation (up to Windows 11)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (up to 2022)
- Understanding of Microsoft IIS (up to version 10)
- Experience with Microsoft Defender
- Proficient in Cisco network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience with DISA STIG assessment and implementation
- Familiarity with DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) / Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanning tools
- Optional: Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Optional: Experience with Ubuntu Linux
Responsibilities
- Strengthen systems per DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and DoD security protocols
- Provide guidance to clients on secure system architecture and design practices
- Assist in the technical aspects of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process
- Collaborate with varied teams to ensure secure implementation and adherence to compliance standards

We, I-Assure, LLC, are actively seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Norco, CA, focusing on Assessment and Authorization operations. In this role, you will work closely with a variety of clients, acting as an intermediary between technical and non-technical security teams. We offer a full-time opportunity with benefits including health insurance, dental coverage, 401(k), and paid time off, supporting an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday in a vibrant work environment.
