Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred
- Over 5 years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering roles
- Proficient in managing Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
- Experience with network infrastructure management including firewalls, VPNs, and switching technology
- Familiarity with implementing or supporting endpoint security platforms (EDR), monitoring systems, or SIEM solutions preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, and cloud services preferred
- Experience with IT operational platforms like ConnectWise, Intune, or other RMM tools preferred
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills across infrastructure systems
- Ability to oversee and support multi-site network and server environments
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple technical projects concurrently
- Excellent documentation and technical communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with IT leadership on strategic initiatives
- Strong security awareness with a focus on safeguarding systems, data, and company infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the companys infrastructure, including virtual servers, physical servers, storage systems, and operating systems
- Monitor system performance, ensure optimal system availability, and implement enhancements for greater reliability and stability
- Manage the network infrastructure including firewalls, VPN connections, switching, and wireless networks across various company locations
- Support firewall setup, security policy management, and network troubleshooting to maintain secure and dependable connectivity between locations
- Lead the deployment and administration of IT operational platforms including ConnectWise RMM, remote support tools, endpoint management, and patch management systems
- Assist in automation and operational enhancements that improve visibility and efficiency of IT operations
- Support the deployment and management of endpoint detection and response (EDR) and SIEM/MDR security platforms
- Aid in centralized log monitoring for endpoints, servers, firewalls, and Microsoft 365 to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities
- Manage backup systems and disaster recovery processes to ensure data protection and rapid recovery capabilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and operational documentation
- Support initiatives for infrastructure modernization, including network standardization, firewall upgrades, and cloud integration projects
- Assist IT leadership with technical planning and implementation of new infrastructure solutions at various company locations
