Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline; Masters degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Over 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Background in supporting manufacturing or industrial settings, preferably with experience related to automation, electrical products, or OT/IT systems.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure such as networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud technology along with enterprise platforms like ERP, MES, PLM, and CRM.
- Proven experience in leading system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation projects.
- Solid expertise in cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks.
- History of managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and a blend of internal and contracted teams.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A hands-on, solution-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Hypers IT strategy to align technology initiatives with business goals across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and sales.
- Lead and cultivate the IT team while managing external service providers, including recruitment, performance assessment, and professional growth opportunities.
- Oversee daily IT operations encompassing networks, servers, endpoints, telephony, cloud services, and crucial production systems.
- Supervise enterprise systems such as NetSuite ERP, MES, PLM, engineering tools (Agile), project management, inventory, and CRM platforms.
- Establish and uphold protocols for cybersecurity, data privacy, backup/recovery, and incident response adhering to NIST, ISO 27001, and best industry practices.
- Manage the IT budget, vendor contracts, and technology procurement processes.
- Spearhead IT projects and digital initiatives, including system upgrades, cloud migrations, enterprise ChatGPT deployments, and manufacturing automation/IoT integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to evaluate technology requirements, implement solutions, and enhance business efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations related to data security and privacy.
- Work jointly with Facilities on physical security systems, access control, and badge management across all Hyper locations.
- Monitor system performance and dependability; lead troubleshooting efforts and identify root causes for infrastructure and application issues.
- Champion continuous enhancement of IT service delivery, documentation, and operational standards.
- Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity assessments, and risk management initiatives.
- Provide executive-level updates on IT performance, security status, and project developments.
