Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar position
- Familiarity with common technology stacks and Agile methodologies
- Proficient in front-end design utilizing HTML and CSS effectively
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Familiarity with the Vue JavaScript framework
- Proficient in the Grails framework
- Proficient with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Competent in Java and Apache Groovy
- Experienced with Tomcat and Nginx servers
- Familiar with code versioning platforms like GitLab
- Experienced with both the Spring framework and the Spring Boot extension
- Knowledgeable about HL7/FHIR standards
- Familiar with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, along with UI/UX design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Optional: Experience with medical imagery
- Optional: Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems like EPIC or CoPath

Responsibilities
- Design both client-side and server-side architecture
- Create the front-end of applications using appealing visual designs
- Develop and manage robust databases and applications
- Conduct software testing to ensure efficiency and responsiveness
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software
- Establish security and data protection measures
- Build features and applications that support responsive design
- Document technical specifications and processes
- Engage with pathologists and users to understand information needs, system flow, data usage, and work processes
- Stay updated with the latest web development tools and techniques
- Mentor and provide guidance to fellow engineers by offering advice, coaching, and learning opportunities
