Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have over 7 years of experience in Information Technology, which should include up to 4 years of relevant education and at least 3 years of experience in security. Demonstrable knowledge of the Microsoft/Office 365 Security landscape, Azure, on-premise Active Directory, PowerShell, and Regular Expressions is essential. Candidates should also have familiarity with Software Development and/or Development Security Operations, as well as experience in proactive risk identification and mitigation, including penetration testing and network vulnerability assessments. A solid understanding of security incident detection, response, handling, and forensics is necessary. You must be well-versed in networking concepts, protocols, and services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with a robust troubleshooting approach to effectively resolve issues. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, implement, manage, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot various security systems at Hunter, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), SIEM and UEBA, endpoint protection, and data security/auditing platforms. You will analyze and audit systems, software, processes, and environments for compliance with established policies and security best practices and recommend improvements in collaboration with teams. Conducting threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments, sometimes with external auditors, to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities will also be part of your duties. You will develop and enhance monitoring capabilities of information systems and serve as a technical lead for security incident detection and response. Reporting on incidents, vulnerabilities, trends, and conditions will be part of your responsibilities, along with staying updated on information security topics and assisting with end-user security training as needed. Exceptional customer service and ethical behavior while maintaining confidentiality is expected. After-hours support may be required for urgent critical issues, along with any additional tasks assigned.
