Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience through significant contributions to large-scale production systems.
- Over 7 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure development, or distributed systems architecture with a proven track record.
- Capability to lead complex technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams, overseeing the process from architectural design to deployment and optimization.
- In-depth technical knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration frameworks, particularly Kubernetes.
- Experience setting comprehensive engineering standards, including coding conventions and deployment processes while maintaining rigorous compliance in regulated environments.
- Strong foundation in scalable system design, with expertise in performance engineering techniques for optimal system efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and comprehensive architecture of enterprise platform services that enhance healthcare applications and AI systems, ensuring consistency across teams.
- Define and apply best practices for infrastructure automation and secure cloud-native deployments.
- Direct platform modernization efforts, including service ecosystem upgrades and infrastructure advancements.
- Set and enforce standards for reliability, observability, and resiliency across all platform services.
- Collaborate with product teams and security professionals to standardize service interfaces and accelerate feature delivery.
- Create detailed design documents and architecture records to outline system requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise protocols.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions, promoting best practices and technical excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to security and compliance requirements relevant to healthcare operations.
