Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in software or platform engineering.
- Extensive expertise in Python, especially in developing production services and shared libraries.
- Practical experience with contemporary AI systems, including LLM integration, RAG, embeddings, and applied generative AI methodologies.
- Strong foundation in machine learning engineering, covering model deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
- Advanced knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks, along with REST/gRPC service architecture.
- High proficiency in cloud-native development across AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.
- Minimum of 5 years in containerization and orchestration techniques (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid background in CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Proven ability to take ownership of large, complex challenges and produce valuable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the architectural design and evolution of internal developer platforms focused on agentic AI applications, emphasizing self-service functionalities and intelligent automation.
- Establish architectural standards and best practices governing infrastructure, agent management, and operational excellence to ensure security and scalability.
- Assess and integrate essential agentic AI technologies, such as cloud-based orchestration frameworks and observability tools.
- Advocate for platform-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-code, and agent-as-a-service principles to streamline environment setup and agent management processes.
- Design, deploy, and manage essential infrastructure on cloud platforms, particularly GCP, employing AI and ML services.
- Implement advanced networking, security protocols, and access management for compliant agentic AI systems.
- Develop and manage thorough monitoring and alert systems for agents and applications, ensuring consistent reliability and performance.
- Construct and sustain effective CI/CD automation and agentic AI pipeline processes for seamless deployment and management.
- Create internal tools and APIs to simplify the complexities of agentic AI infrastructure for development teams.
- Promote best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, incorporating AI-assisted development tools into our platforms.
- Provide mentorship and support to engineering and data science teams on utilizing our agentic AI capabilities to enhance workflows.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python tailored for agentic AI functionalities.
- Create RESTful or gRPC endpoints with clear documentation and extensive error handling for platform services.
- Design database schemas for effective data management related to agents and platform operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine platform capabilities and architectural decisions.
