Requirements
Must:
- B.A./B.S. degree in computer science or systems management with 10+ years of relevant experience in creating, implementing, and supporting on-site and hosted environments (Windows Server 2019+, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and AWS).
- Over a decade of experience managing Windows environments using Active Directory, group policies, Microsoft 365 solutions, and authentication technologies.
- At least 7 years of expertise in SharePoint/Teams administration.
- Practical experience with Apple Business Manager and Jamf for automated device enrollment, configuration, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management of macOS and iOS devices.
- Comprehensive understanding of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and Cisco Meraki technologies.
- Current, relevant certifications in Microsoft 365 and/or Azure, Cisco CCNA or Meraki ECMS, CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+.
- Over 7 years in IT vendor management involving SOWs, SLAs, and Work Order tracking.
- Proficient project management skills for initiatives related to infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
- Competent in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and basic programming.
- Familiarity with Federal Government compliance standards (NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent logical and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain all organizational systems and applications, including on-site Windows servers and cloud-based Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Ensure the security and management of user deployments, apps, and endpoint devices through Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions.
- Administer Windows and Apple devices, involving both hardware and software management.
- Develop technical documentation outlining best practices for server and cloud-hosted infrastructure, virtualization, and all organizational hardware/software.
- Supervise help desk operations, guaranteeing prompt and effective user support while upholding comprehensive documentation of all requests, actions taken, and solutions. Provide hands-on support across all tiers, delivering Tier 1 assistance as required and leading Tier 2 and Tier 3 efforts for complex issues.
- Conduct routine audits and manage monitoring and backups of all systems, networks, and software.
- Provide regular updates on security and compliance risks and alerts.
- Establish, install, and test software and hardware patches while maintaining suitable documentation.
- Mentor the technical support staff in resolving common systems-related issues.
- Foster effective relationships with vendors, acting as the primary coordinator among various vendors to resolve IT infrastructure problems.
- Stay updated with all relevant facets of computer software/hardware and operations.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
- Administer architecture and configuration of multiple SharePoint online site collections.
- Manage site collection administration and maintenance.
- Provide front-end development and administration, encompassing document management, automated workflows, collaboration, and content management within site collections.
- Maintain SharePoint integration with other Microsoft 365 applications like Microsoft Flow (Power Automate).
- Audit sites for policy compliance and report on site usage.
- Document SharePoint configuration and architecture accurately.
- Suggest and support governance policies and procedures for SharePoint use and features.
