Requirements

Must:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered - Proven track record in a help desk or technical support role, preferably within merchant services or POS software - Familiarity with troubleshooting POS systems, payment gateways, and peripheral devices such as printers and scanners - Proficient in operating systems (Windows, iOS, Android) and software troubleshooting - Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, IP settings, etc.) - Experience with ticketing systems and remote support applications - Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail - Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in conveying technical information to non-technical individuals - Patience and empathy in client interactions, especially under stress

Responsibilities

- Provide prompt assistance for customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat while ensuring high-quality service - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues associated with our POS software, hardware integration, and payment processing systems - Assist customers by guiding them through problem-resolution processes and software features - Escalate complex technical concerns to specialized support or development teams, maintaining ownership of cases until resolved - Contribute to system upkeep through software updates, patches, and configuration management - Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in the ticketing system - Gather and relay user feedback to enhance product functionality, usability, and overall customer satisfaction

In this full-time position, you will deliver essential technical support for our Point of Sale (POS) software and related merchant services. We offer competitive pay ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, along with benefits that include dental, health, vision insurance, and paid time off.
