Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Over 3 years of experience in housing programs or Section 8 management
- Skilled in SQL, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Emphasys Elite or similar property management systems
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms (preferred)
- Strong communication and client service skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of HUDs EIV/PIC systems (preferred)
- Ability to oversee incident tracking and resolution (preferred)
- Expertise in data project management (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Administer user access, roles, and permissions in the Emphasys Elite system or current property management system
- Oversee system configuration, setup, and maintenance
- Monitor system performance and address technical issues
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for users
- Collaborate with Emphasys technical support on escalated issues
- Simulate and resolve problems in QA/Test environments
- Execute data queries and create reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, or SSRS
- Ensure data accuracy during migrations and updates
- Assist with monthly payment processing and data submissions
- Create and present training materials for staff and administrators
- Organize and lead training sessions on system use and updates
- Maintain documentation for system processes and configurations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local data security standards
- Work with IT to uphold a secure infrastructure
- Support audit and reporting requirements
- Assist in planning and executing system upgrades and enhancements
- Participate in user acceptance testing and system performance evaluations
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders on integration initiatives
- Coordinate and maintain meetings with user groups for testing
- Assess and provide improvement recommendations for the property management system
