Requirements

Must:
- A bachelors degree in Engineering is required. - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary. - Excellent communication abilities are essential. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must. - Strong mechanical and electrical skills are crucial. - Familiarity with PLCs and C-programming is beneficial. - Experience with data acquisition and control systems is a plus. - Knowledge of CAD, GDT, FEA, reliability testing, and design of experiments is preferred. - Previous experience in a testing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the design or verification process of new or existing products. - Visit client sites at project start to gather insights on their requirements. - Supervise verification plans and collaborate with manufacturing and testing teams to model and assess designs. - Conduct tests on materials and concepts, partnering with the Test and Research teams to create tests and record results. - Decide when a product is ready for launch and authorize the release of drawings and documentation. - Collaborate with manufacturing to provide engineering support throughout the production process. - Oversee testing to evaluate product functionality and quality, as well as testing new ideas or adjustments to existing products. - Offer engineering support to sales and management, assisting the sales team with customer inquiries. - Participate in sales and marketing strategy meetings to discuss design specifications and generate ideas to satisfy specific customer or market demands. - Travel with the sales team to customer locations to observe applications and gather information for addressing specific client needs. - Coordinate field tests to assess the usability of new or improved designs in production settings. - Work with sales personnel or development engineers to address existing or potential challenges during field tests. - Manage the collection of field performance data and prepare detailed reports that inform the engineering team about design enhancements. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
