Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in a field related to Behavior Analysis (preferably in Applied Behavior Analysis)
- BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Current Behavior Analyst Licensure in the State of Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a BCaBA or with BCBA supervision during training hours
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder
Responsibilities
- Assessing and evaluating learners using various Functional Behavior Assessments such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, AFLS, and Essential for Living
- Designing and overseeing the implementation of personalized goals and objectives for center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth programs
- Developing individualized behavior intervention plans and monitoring their application, providing necessary feedback
- Conducting parent training sessions when clinically appropriate for the learner
- Creating and utilizing opportunities to teach staff and learners in natural settings
- Engaging in parent, treatment, and stakeholder meetings as necessary
- Assisting with initial and ongoing training of behavior technicians to support their retention and development
- Facilitating staff development through performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and training in accordance with organizational and BACB standards
