Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, focusing on fields like Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Applied Physics, Computational Mathematics, or Quantum Mechanics.
- Over 8 years of pertinent experience.
- A strong passion for research, tackling difficult challenges, and pushing against the conventional norms.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, specifically in testing and validation processes.
- Ability to specify requirements for semiconductor devices and components.
- Experience in setting up and validating optimization simulations and conducting multi-physics simulations.
- Proven project management skills, including developing Statements of Work with external partners and overseeing budgets and schedules.
- Demonstrated capability to lead technical teams effectively.
- Ability to make independent decisions that align with our research mission and company business model.
- Strong communication skills for articulating new research and technological concepts to both technical team members and management.
- Proficient in scientifically analyzing data from tests and experiments for enhanced knowledge and understanding of research subjects.
- Experience in managing overall research project schedules, budgets, and strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- I will oversee a portfolio of R&D projects, applying scientific and engineering principles in advanced engineering and manufacturing technologies alongside both internal and external partners.
- I will propose new research initiatives and guide teams of both direct and indirect researchers through the execution of these activities.
- I will lead all facets of research projects and independently manage technical program resources, including mentoring less experienced team members.
- As a Subject Matter Expert, I will promote the development of new research domains, proposing and managing all aspects of these initiatives.
- I will identify the root causes of complex, multidisciplinary technical issues within assigned R&D activities, and devise strategies, designs, testing methods, materials, techniques, and processes to meet project objectives.
