Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in Die Cast, Stamping, or Plastics. Ideally, you should have 0-2 years of pertinent experience in Die cast, Stamping, or Plastics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, while familiarity with Catia, Polyworks, and Keyence is preferred.
Responsibilities
As an NM Quality Engineer, you will utilize 3D/2D data and visual inspection analytics to collect and analyze information, devise countermeasures, and supervise or lead the quality data process to fulfill die/mold demands, aiming to achieve or surpass production KPI targets for long-term stability. Your expertise will allow you to contribute valuable insights for future models, streamlining the maturation process while reducing energy consumption.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Collecting and analyzing quality data to formulate countermeasures that align with quality targets.
- Ensuring the final quality of dies dispatched to the production plant.
- Presenting quality results and future action plans for any non-conforming data to the team.
- Collaborating with customers to fulfill their quality expectations.
- Developing part supplementals and creating specifications for fixtures used in tooling.
- Supporting preliminary new model development to expedite maturation.
