We are seeking candidates with the following expertise and qualifications:
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java Spring Boot, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, PyTest, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Familiarity with test automation tools like BrowserStack, Robot Framework, Cypress, or Xray.
- Strong knowledge of API development and testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines including Concourse and DevOps.
- Comfortable using Git and GitHub Actions workflows.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and operate applications and tools while applying best practices in development, data management, and security.
- Document technical solutions to ensure product sustainability and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Provide technical support, analyze issues, and identify root causes during critical incidents, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with team members, including analysts, architects, and tech leads, to understand requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Take responsibility for the installation and testing of applications and tools.
- Engage in technical analysis and the definition of functional requirements to identify testing needs.
- Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios.
Description
This position is a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months. The pay range is $50.00 to $55.00 per hour, with expected working hours totaling 37.5 per week. The work location for this role is hybrid remote based in Montréal, QC. As a Python and Java Developer/Analyst, you will be tasked with developing tools to automate various operations, modernize our client platform, and support development work for our clients and partners. You will analyze needs, influence technological decisions, and coordinate efforts to meet commitments and achieve project goals. Your contributions to source code and automated testing are vital in ensuring that our deliverables meet high-quality standards as you collaborate with various stakeholders across different areas of expertise.
