Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management is mandatory
- Proven experience in financial services or captive auto finance is highly advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate within large teams
- Required expertise in application development within large-scale enterprise settings
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills for task execution
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-driven and capable of working independently when needed
- Preferred Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate)
- Intermediate to expert knowledge in:
- Cloud Architecture principles and best practices
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Git)
- Integrating on-premises networks with Azure Cloud using ExpressRoute
- Monitoring and logging solutions like Azure Monitor, Grafana, App Dynamics, DynaTrace
- Management of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Administration of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Azure Active Directory, Azure Backup, Azure Networking, and Firewalls
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) framework
- System development lifecycle and processes
- Testing methodologies such as unit and integration testing (JUnit, JMock)
- Software configuration management tools
- Code deployment and versioning tools
- Experience with UNIX (AIX), UNIX scripting, JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, JavaScript, servlets, JDBC, struts, Hibernate, WebSphere, WSAD, MQ Series, DB2, SQL, MS Access, FTP/SFTP
Responsibilities
- Administer, manage, and set up the Microsoft Azure cloud IaaS/PaaS environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance metrics, policy governance, and security protocols
- Design, architect, develop, and implement resilient, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Review existing operational standards and processes to identify areas for enhancement
- Transition existing on-premises infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions
- Oversee security and access management for cloud-based systems
- Establish and enforce policy-driven data protection practices to safeguard cloud solutions against data loss
- Monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of cloud environments
- Adapt existing application code or interfaces and create new components from detailed specifications
- Conduct requirements analysis, support the design and development of code, ensure thorough testing and debugging, and maintain documentation
- Engage in various aspects of programming and application development, including file design, updates, storage, and retrieval
- Ensure the ongoing maintenance and support of developed solutions
- Conceptualize solutions, define system scope, and establish technical objectives aligned with user requirements (strong communication skills and business acumen required)
- Improve processes to address operational challenges while considering timeline, resource limitations, complexity, dependencies, and application architecture
- Follow established development methodologies and coding standards, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provide guidance to different groups on application system activities
- Operate under general supervision, typically reporting to a team lead or manager
