Requirements

Must:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to establish new connections and enhance existing relationships. - Ability to convey intricate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and presentations. - Previous involvement in successful economic development initiatives is advantageous. - Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Planning, or a similar discipline. A Masters degree is a plus. - At least three (3) years of experience in economic development, local government, consulting, or market/economic research. - Preferred experience in preparing analytical reports, interpreting datasets, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with public-sector clients or officials.

Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to develop tailored solutions that provide clear insights into local market dynamics and opportunities. - Craft and deliver well-organized proposals, documents, and presentations as required. - Compile market analyses, community profiles, and insight reports for designated clients. - Aid in the development and assembly of various special projects, including action plans and strategic studies for specific clients. - Prepare reports and presentations for diverse audiences, such as city staff, City Council, and economic development associations. - Listen to and understand client objectives and leverage problem-solving abilities to address their needs. - Work closely with assigned clients to meet their economic development needs and provide exceptional service. - Deliver prompt customer support, answering inquiries about reports, data, and suggested strategies. - Conduct thorough research and data analysis to support various ECONSolutions projects. - Analyze market, demographic, and economic datasets to inform strategic plans and studies. - Synthesize analysis findings into narrative summaries to help communities grasp current conditions and future trends. - Assist in creating long-term fiscal and economic forecasts. - Lead and contribute to the development of quarterly reports on sales tax forecasting. - Assist in identifying and nurturing business development opportunities for ECONSolutions. - Communicate with potential clients through various means, including phone, video calls, and in-person meetings. - Draft proposals and assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs). - Attend relevant conferences and events to represent our company, promote business development, and connect with partners, prospects, and clients.
