Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of practical IT support or technical field experience, preferably in a Managed Services Provider setting, though this is not mandatory.
- A solid understanding of networking, servers, and endpoint systems is essential.
- Familiarity with phone systems, firewalls, and troubleshooting ISP issues is advantageous.
- Strong organizational abilities and documentation skills are necessary, particularly with tools like IT Glue, ConnectWise, or similar platforms.
- Effective communication skills are crucial for engaging with both technical and non-technical users.
- I am looking for individuals who are self-driven, eager to learn, and able to adapt to dynamic client environments.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required are also necessary.
Responsibilities
- I will assign you to perform on-site IT tasks for client projects, which will involve installing and configuring phone systems, network equipment, servers, and racks.
- You will troubleshoot internet and ISP connectivity problems.
- I expect you to provide pre-sales support by participating in prospect meetings to conduct initial technical assessments.
- After sales, you will lead the onboarding process for new clients, which includes deploying and configuring tools, agents, and software on endpoints.
- You will document client infrastructure and systems within IT Glue.
- Building trust through effective communication and solutions-oriented service while collaborating directly with clients is vital.
- You will work alongside our internal team to ensure smooth project delivery and manage account transitions.
- Staying updated on new technologies and solutions pertinent to client environments will be part of your role.

This position is essential for supporting our managed services clients with both onsite and project-based technical work. Unlike standard help desk roles, this position emphasizes hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and customer onboarding, rather than being ticket-driven support.
