Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct IT support or technical field experience, preferably in an MSP setting
- Proficient understanding of networking, server management, and endpoint systems
- Familiarity with phone systems, firewalls, and resolving ISP connectivity issues is advantageous
- Strong organizational capabilities and documentation expertise, particularly with platforms like IT Glue or Connectwise
- Effective communication skills for interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-driven attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in various client environments
- Valid drivers license with a readiness to travel to client sites as necessary
Responsibilities
- Execute onsite IT projects for clients, including installation and configuration of phone systems, network devices, servers, and racks
- Diagnose and resolve internet and ISP connectivity challenges
- Offer pre-sales assistance by participating in prospect meetings to conduct initial technical evaluations
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients after sales:
- Deploy and set up tools, agents, and software on client devices
- Record client infrastructure and systems in IT Glue
- Engage directly with clients in a professional manner, fostering trust through effective communication and solution-oriented support
- Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee smooth project execution and account transitions
- Keep abreast of new technologies and solutions pertinent to client needs
