Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security
- At least 3 years working within large heterogeneous enterprise IT organizations
- 5 years of IT experience preferred
- Self-motivated and adaptable
- Proven ability to drive security initiatives independently
- Background check required
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement information security program directives
- Support the development and enforcement of security policies
- Review system and application designs for compliance with security standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide security guidance and recommendations
- Partner with system administrators and application developers to ensure secure environments
- Conduct vulnerability scans and analyze results
- Produce audit reports and assist with security investigations
- Design and manage both new and existing security systems
- Coordinate system upgrades and maintenance with internal teams and vendors
- Contribute to the development of new security initiatives across the organization
Description
We are Highgate, seeking a skilled Information Security Operations Engineer to enhance our security programs within a large enterprise IT setting. This is a full-time hybrid position, operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with a projected engagement period from January 19, 2026, to June 30, 2026. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection of our critical systems while enjoying the collaborative environment of our team.
