Director, IT Applications (Oracle ERP Financials)

- Direct the product strategy and roadmap for Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials, Procurement, Projects), OCI, and OIC, focusing on outcomes, usability, performance, and compliance - Serve as the sole owner for application capabilities, defining vision, creating epics/user stories, maintaining the backlog, and overseeing sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while assessing impact via KPIs - Lead quarterly release planning and change management for SaaS and PaaS; ensuring thorough regression testing, business approvals, and production readiness - Drive the integration architecture and establish standards on OIC, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to transition from file-based loads to event/API-driven processes - Ensure production stability by triaging incidents, upholding SLAs, and conducting root-cause analyses with onshore and offshore partners; implement observability and proactive monitoring strategies - Advocate for data quality and design controls for month-end activities, partnering with Accounting and Data Services for close calendars, reconciliations, and audit preparedness (SOX) - Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Hotels to gather requirements, map comprehensive processes, and implement iterative enhancements - Oversee vendor relationships and Statements of Work (SOWs); manage budgets and track the realization of value from implementations, upgrades, and support engagements - Establish governance practices including standards, documentation, security roles, access audits, and lifecycle management across all environments (Development/Test/Production) - Mentor business employees and partner resources, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer-focused service - Lead initiatives and deployment of AI Agents within Oracle Cloud to automate financial and operational use cases - Design and productize agent tools by exposing OIC integrations and ERP services to agents, setting guidelines, observability measures, and fallback mechanisms for safe automation - Evaluate the effectiveness of agents, driving touchless processes and automated reconciliations while aligning with Highgates AI policy and risk management protocols.
