Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in game programming, particularly with engines like Unity or Unreal (coursework is acceptable)
- Strong background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering can substitute for direct experience
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members, clients, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and implement serious games and virtual training products using Unity
- Write, test, and debug code while optimizing performance as required
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices during development
- Produce clear and efficient code with detailed documentation
- Engage in technical design documentation and peer reviews with fellow programmers
- Actively participate in the game design process from initial prototyping through to final product delivery
- Demonstrate initiative and accountability for personal work as a proactive self-starter
