Requirements
Must:
- At least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate construction environment.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or a related field.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Must possess a PA Professional Engineer (PE) License.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all project design elements including in-house efforts and consultant collaboration.
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create and refine MEP components, conveying concepts to stakeholders.
- Transform conceptual designs into precise construction-ready drawings.
- Procure necessary permits and approvals in alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct various engineering studies such as feasibility and code compliance assessments.
- Identify and resolve MEP issues while prioritizing safety and compliance.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and assist in budget planning by estimating costs for materials.
- Maintain organized documentation of engineering drawings and ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Stay current on industry trends and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
