Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analytics.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Google Looker, including LookML development and the creation of reports and dashboards in Looker Studio.
- Understanding of data security and access control protocols.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience with other BI and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain flexible and scalable data models using LookML.
- Establish relationships among various data sources and ensure data integrity within the Looker model.
- Use Lookers semantic layer to create a unified source of truth for data analysis.
- Develop interactive and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Looker Studio while following data governance and security policies.
- Create engaging visualizations to effectively convey data insights, implementing filtering, parameters, and drill-down functions to improve user interaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend reporting needs and translate them into successful solutions in Looker Studio.
- Manage the Looker application, including user permissions and access control, enforcing security protocols to protect data confidentiality and integrity.
- Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on optimal use of Looker and Looker Studio.
- Contribute to the formulation of data-driven insights and recommendations while participating in data governance efforts to assure quality and consistency.
- Carry out additional duties as required.
