Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in analytical, data management, or business intelligence roles, ideally within supply chain or e-commerce.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL is essential. Professional experience with Python or R for data manipulation and automation is necessary for this position.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating sophisticated, automated dashboards in Tableau, Grafana, or other similar BI tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding both upstream and downstream impacts of operational changes.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain the rationale behind data to executive stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing projects from initial conception to implementation and follow-up analysis.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an analytical field such as Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Data Science.
- At least 3 years of experience in a high-volume fulfillment, manufacturing, or production setting.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies, or extensive practical experience in these areas.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives focused on local and network planning, automation, and engineering to address deficiencies in distribution center input metrics.
- Develop predictive models and intricate data structures in Data Lakes utilizing SQL and Python/R to forecast volumes and proactively resolve customer-reported issues.
- Identify and rectify systemic inefficiencies within our data infrastructure, designing and implementing automated, scalable solutions to replace manual reporting processes.
- Transform complex data sets into actionable business proposals for senior leadership while advocating for resource allocation and necessary process changes.
- Set best practices for the OpEx team by establishing exemplary dashboarding standards (using Grafana, Tableau, or other BI tools) and adhering to comprehensive code documentation protocols; conduct peer reviews.
- Promote the adoption of new KPIs and reporting tools throughout the fulfillment network, ensuring local teams comprehend and use data to enhance performance.
