Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing networks and IT infrastructures
- Proficient in network technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN), firewall systems, and networking equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations quickly and propose effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and internal teams
- Educational background: AEC in Information Technology or equivalent
- Relevant training: Watch Guard, Fortinet, Cisco, or other networking tools
- Expertise in cybersecurity and best practices
- Valid Quebec drivers license
- Fluent in French
Responsibilities
- Travel to clients for installation and maintenance of networking equipment, racks, and servers
- Manage and ensure the functionality, reliability, and security of clients networks (LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Oversee infrastructure by installing and maintaining networking equipment such as servers, switches, firewalls, routers, and WiFi access points
- Provide technical support by addressing client inquiries and diagnosing network and infrastructure issues
- Deploy and uphold strong security policies to safeguard data and systems
- Maintain detailed and clear documentation of configurations, passwords, procedures, and security policies
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere within the team
