Requirements

- Must be a meticulous team player with solid data entry skills; knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate inpatient, outpatient, and provider billing for medical treatment appropriateness;
- Analyze charges from various revenue centers considering patient demographics, procedures, age, and facility type along with other relevant negotiation details;
- Apply national coding standards and regulatory guidelines to billed claims;
- Produce clear and concise findings;
- Conduct research and offer internal responses based on itemized bills, claims, operative notes, and necessary documentation;
- Support internal claim reviews and recommendations;
- Communicate clinical and reimbursement insights with team members and management;
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively across various teams and departments;
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and requirements;
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
