Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of progressive software development experience, specifically in full-stack application development
- Proven ability to own systems from design and architecture through to deployment and support
- Experience in leading or making significant contributions to architecture and system design decisions
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
- Strong back-end development skills (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
- Database expertise (SQL and/or NoSQL) including schema design and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment practices
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development processes
- Knowledge of application security principles and data protection techniques
- Capability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications, covering front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and database components
- Lead decisions regarding technical architecture, including system design, data flow, integrations, and scalability planning
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code according to established standards and best practices
- Address complex technical issues spanning the application stack, particularly troubleshooting and debugging
- Manage and optimize databases, queries, and data models for performance, reliability, and security
- Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems, platforms, and services
- Conduct code reviews and uphold development standards, security practices, and version control methodologies
- Collaborate with product, operations, and other internal teams to gather requirements and create technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives
- Participate in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and cloud infrastructure support
- Monitor and assess system performance and reliability; propose and implement enhancements
- Document system architecture, processes, and technical workflows
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, junior staff, or contractors
