Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, security operations, or comparable positions.
- Solid grasp of the threat intelligence lifecycle, attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), as well as the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Familiarity with intelligence platforms, SIEM, and tools for threat data enhancement.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and report writing capabilities.
- Ability to successfully obtain an MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the detection and evaluation of cyber threats impacting agency infrastructure, users, and data.
- Collect, correlate, and analyze intelligence from various sources, including open source, commercial, government, and classified information.
- Generate and present threat intelligence reports, briefings, and strategic recommendations for leadership and technical teams.
- Monitor and categorize threat actors, campaigns, and relevant tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) that affect the federal landscape.
- Work collaboratively with SOC, incident response, and vulnerability management teams to enhance detection, response, and mitigation efforts.
- Create and enhance methodologies for intelligence collection, along with analytic frameworks and reporting standards.
- Assist in integrating threat intelligence into security tools, SIEM systems, and operational workflows.
- Mentor and support junior analysts while contributing to the ongoing improvement of the threat intelligence program.
