Applications Development DevOps Expert

- Collaborate with development, testing, and operational teams to manage the Maryland Health Connection system and its related infrastructure in both Cloud and traditional settings. - Provide technical assistance to Application Development teams to enhance their use of Cloud services while ensuring compliance with CI/CD standards. - Partner with infrastructure and operations teams to facilitate the automation of application and system operations on AWS Cloud. - Design, document, and automate various technical processes and operations utilizing AWS cloud services. - Collaborate with other DevOps team members to create tools and automation for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our technologies in the AWS environment. - Engage with various tools to establish and execute CI/CD solutions in AWS Cloud, including Ansible, EC2, ELB, Jenkins, Git, Docker, S3, etc. - Apply current application development methodologies consistently. - Develop and sustain configuration standards and practices. - Establish monitoring and alerting standards for cloud-based systems and applications to ensure SLAs and other performance metrics are satisfied. - Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and conduct debugging activities. - Employ various platforms to deliver automated and integrated systems and applications. - Provide input on critical IT decisions pertaining to integrated solutions. - Take responsibility for complex, enterprise-wide applications and issues, translating intricate technical concepts into requirements and solutions for peers. - Assist with integration testing and collaborate with business teams for acceptance testing. - Engage in technical assessments during various software and application development phases. - Comply with all security, change control, and MHBE Project Management Office (PMO) policies and processes.
