- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS.

- Intermediate understanding of basic computer technology and hardware.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Customer service oriented with experience working with external vendors and support.
- Effective reading, analysis, and interpretation of complex documents.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to both on-premises and remote users with inquiries, concerns, or issues related to software and hardware.
- Monitor local workstation configurations, utilities, and software settings using Microsoft Intune.
- Document and maintain internal procedures.
- Assist in the on-boarding and off-boarding processes for users.
- Ensure workstations are equipped with necessary hardware and specialized equipment.
- Install, test, and configure new workstations and peripheral devices.
- Maintain inventory records for equipment, software, and software licenses.
- Escalate issues to the Systems Administrator Lead as needed.
- Assign users and computers to appropriate groups in Active Directory.
- Execute timely upgrades for hardware and software as required.
- Manage user access permissions for network and software applications.
- Compile reports by gathering information from various departmental databases and resources.
- Provide training to users on software and hardware with oversight from the Systems Administrator Lead.
- Serve as a conduit between the IT department and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Create worksheets and other materials for user reference.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all PCs, laptops, and peripherals using applicable software tools.
- Clean and assess aged equipment for potential disposition.
- Stay informed about new hardware technologies.
- Implement software deployments, including Microsoft, Adobe, and IBM products.
- Ensure all users computers are equipped with necessary cybersecurity protection.
- Apply KnowBe4 cybersecurity training initiatives.
- Utilize and manage help desk tracking software effectively.
- Provide maintenance and support for plant floor computers.
Description
We are looking for an Applications Analyst I to join our Information Systems department. In this role, you will provide essential support for our staff and act as a liaison to Computer Support Services. The position will be based in-person, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.
