Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of IT experience
- Proficient in installing and troubleshooting Windows-based PCs and associated hardware and software
- Familiarity with Windows Desktop (Windows 10 & Windows 11), Microsoft Office 2016-2019, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and basic networking principles
- Experience with Microsoft 365 user setup and support
- Knowledge of Windows Server level one support including Active Directory, Exchange user management, and NTFS permissions
- Skills in desktop imaging and managing multiple installation profile checklists
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi technologies and connected devices
- Basic understanding of wiring and network cabling
- Competence in removing viruses and malware
- Experience in resolving printer and MFP issues (local, network, or remote)
- Knowledge of setting up and supporting secure VPN/MFA and Remote Desktop connections
- Familiarity with networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Willingness to travel to local client offices as required
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capability to represent ourselves and our company professionally
- Eagerness to stay updated with technical innovations and trends in IT support
- In-depth understanding of computer hardware and software
- Ability to assess IT needs and provide user training
- Valid Minnesota drivers license and proof of insurance
- Ownership of a dependable vehicle
- Clean background check and driving record
- US citizenship required due to client security needs
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas
- Oversee computer systems to guarantee their efficient operation
- Troubleshoot software issues, especially with Microsoft Office applications
- Assist with networking, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Resolve both hardware and software problems, including Mac OS issues
- Deliver outstanding customer service while managing IT support requests
