Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Over 5 years of experience as a CAE application developer
- Proficient in C, C++, and Python with a focus on debugging and analysis
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as Nastran and Abaqus
- Experience in Agile development environments
- Knowledgeable in GitHub or similar version control systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while managing changing priorities
- Experience with Perl programming preferred
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and performance monitoring tools
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, debug, and maintain software components and models for CAE
- Translate business and technical requirements into efficient solutions
- Conduct problem analysis, debugging, and performance troubleshooting
- Create and deploy tested modules to version-controlled environments (GitHub)
- Implement automation and apply DevOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle
