Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in IT project management delivering web and data platform projects from start to finish
- Proven experience in leading Agile/SAFe programs within public sector or regulated settings with milestone-based acceptance
- Current Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master) and/or PMP certification
- Proficient in using Azure DevOps or Jira for planning sprints, managing backlogs, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple workstreams and effectively manage vendor-client relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both executive and technical audiences
- Experience overseeing risk registers, change control, and governance reporting related to public-sector initiatives
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete delivery process from project initiation to formal closure
- Organize and manage Agile sprint ceremonies such as planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Facilitate Scrum events and eliminate any obstacles to ensure milestone-based delivery
- Coordinate dependencies among development, data engineering, QA, DevOps, BA, and architecture teams
- Manage stakeholder communications, escalation protocols, and executive governance reporting
- Conduct Steering Committee meetings, status updates, and sprint review demonstrations
- Maintain comprehensive dashboards tracking scope, schedule, quality, risk, and financial KPIs
- Oversee the project risk register while driving actions for risk mitigation
- Ensure milestone delivery tracking and manage risks, issues, and change requests through formal procedures
- Coordinate vendor-client dependencies, including environment access, dataset delivery, user acceptance testing scheduling, and knowledge transfer
- Keep accurate project documentation such as project plans, RACI, risk registers, status updates, and change logs
- Ensure all contractual deliverables across milestones are completed and duly accepted
- Assist the contracts team with scope change orders and subcontracting disclosures
