Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of the Financial Services and Insurance sectors
- Experience with insurance software implementation
- Proficiency in various technology platforms and frameworks, including AWS, OCI, Azure public clouds, ERP systems (Workday, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft), data lakehouse concepts, data mesh architectures, security frameworks, and AI/GenAI implementation concepts and frameworks (e.g., RAG)
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and APM tools such as Ardoq
- Strong background in Corporate Finance, HR, or Legal/Risk/Compliance
- Excellent technical, analytical, and project management abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership and motivational capabilities
- Experience in system architecture is a plus
- Proven experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industry is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Assess internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes to propose enhancements
- Develop current and future state architecture and strategize roadmaps
- Conduct portfolio evaluations of applications and platforms that support business sectors
- Offer suggestions to streamline processes, drive innovation, and reduce costs for IT and business leaders
- Provide guidance on business architecture and systems processing
- Ensure efficiency and security while aligning with company objectives
- Develop compliance architecture practices including data storage, metadata management, and change control
- Identify and execute build versus buy strategies that are consistent with business and technology goals
- Oversee AI use cases to guarantee ROI and compliance with standards and policies
- Prepare and deliver presentations to the Technical Architecture Group
- Analyze and recommend adoption of new technologies
