Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- I have 7-10 years of practical experience in embedded software development.
- I am proficient in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- I possess a solid understanding of RTOS or safety-critical systems.
- I have experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar Linux build frameworks.
- I am skilled with tools such as Eclipse, GIT, gcc, gdb, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
- I have experience in Agile development, CI/CD, and GitLab pipelines.
- I exhibit excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- I possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the design, development, integration, and maintenance of embedded software systems.
- I will develop and maintain architectures, algorithms, and software interfaces.
- I will build, configure, and optimize VxWorks, Linux, or other embedded operating systems.
- I will perform Linux system programming tasks, including driver development and hardware enablement.
- I will load, deploy, and verify software releases in lab and vehicle environments.
- I will create and execute software verification plans, test procedures, and document test results.
- I will integrate software components into build systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- I will implement embedded system security using cryptography, secure boot, and trusted execution environments.
- I will diagnose and troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
Description
I am looking for an experienced Embedded Linux / RTOS DevSecOps Software Developer to assist in software integration and development for advanced vehicle electronic systems. This role emphasizes system-level design, secure software deployment, and configuring embedded operating systems. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, technically proficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering atmosphere. U.S. Citizenship is required due to clearance eligibility. This is an onsite position with occasional overtime, and I offer a work environment that includes office, laboratory, manufacturing, and prototype vehicle areas. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential.
