Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in managing Kubernetes clusters, including cluster provisioning and deployment.
- More than 5 years of expertise in Kubernetes networking management, focusing on concepts and security practices.
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure architecture.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Over 3 years of experience using observability tools for application monitoring, such as Prometheus or Grafana.
- At least 3 years working within Agile development teams.
- More than 3 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- A minimum of 2 years using Docker for containerization.
- At least 2 years of experience with automation pipelines utilizing Java.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in previous team roles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible for managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Establish security best practices, including secrets management and access control measures.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to grasp requirements and ensure performance efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations, assist in root cause analysis, and conduct post-mortem reviews following incidents.
- Analyze and refine system performance and scalability for improved efficiency.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to enhance team productivity.
- Manage network configurations and security protocols within Kubernetes to optimize communication.
- Promote Agile methodologies to facilitate rapid software development and delivery.
- Utilize AWS services for architecting, deploying, and refining cloud-based solutions while ensuring cost management.
- Investigate production incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure requirements and align technical solutions to business objectives.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance our DevOps practices.
